Weekly Lawn Care
Maintenance
Our
weekly lawn maintenance goes beyond the normal cut/trim/blow of
many companies. We will maintain your lawn at the correct
height. We have options of bagging, mulching, and discharging.
Our mowers have the striping ability to give your lawn a nice
and neat manicured look. We will cut your lawn when it needs to
be cut no more, no less. We keep our blades sharp to cut your
grass evenly with good clean cuts.
Fertilizing &
Weed Control Programs
We
offer many different plans depending on the condition of your
lawn & soil, as all lawns are not the same. We offer a very
basic 3 step plan all the way up to our yearly 6 step plan
including our fall core aeration & over-seeding. Using all slow
release fertilizers and a liquid weed control program to control
all of your
broadleaf weeds and annual grasses.
Core Aeration &
Over-seeding
The most positive application you can
do for your lawn. Core
Aeration removes soil plugs from you lawn approximately 1 to 3”
long and ¾” round. This depends on the compaction of your soil
and the moisture in the ground. Pulling the plugs out allows
your soil to loosen and promote rapid root growth giving roots
room to expand. This also allows your fertilizer, and other
nutrients such as lime, sulphur and water to get your root
system faster. Core Aeration is usually done in the fall but can
be done in the spring also. Fall Aeration allows you an already
warm soil temp, great for growing. The cooler days ahead are
ideal for seeding and preparing your lawn for next spring. Grass
seeding should be done by approximately October 15th
to allow seed to germinate before winter.
Silt Seeding
Allows us to break down the top ¼ - 1/2” of soil. Silting the
soil and planting the seed into the soil at the correct depth.
Giving better soil to seed contact, so better results.
Lawn Renovations
Whether you have a new yard that didn’t take or a yard not
properly maintained over the years. It can still become a
beautiful lawn with a little TLC. Soil prepping & seeding in the
fall, along with a balance of a Fertilizer & Weed control
Program and time. My advice – be patient! Your lawn
didn’t get that way over night so its not going to fix itself
overnight either.
Grub Control
An application to aid the control of turf damaging grubs.
Applied in May to provide season long protection. The product is
taken up by the grass itself causes the grass roots to become
poisonous to the Grub worms.
Soil Analysis
Offering this service is a great way for us to solve problem
turf areas of your lawn. It allows us to alter our applications
to treat your lawn differently to solve your turf problems,
(instead of guessing).
